90899 Carved Figurine stone eyes

Is that a stone statue lying on its side? (And are those white things eyes?)

This resembles a carved image of a “bulul” or rice god of the Ifugao peoples of the Philippines. (Although I’ve never seen a bulul looking like this. )

The photo is not clear. Is this the artifact’s upright position? Might be a bul-ul if this is the artifact lying on its side.

Looks like a bulul (on its side) carved out of a fern plant. The bulul is the Ifugao’s rice god/guardian statue. This one was placed outdoors near the rice field.
